FACILITY INSPECTION: Facility Inspections WILL NOT be given individually to contractors that do not attend the Pre-Bid Meeting.

Sealed Bids shall be hand delivered to the
Pleasant Hill City Hall Council Chambers:
Public bid opening 2:00 pm.
Bids received after 2:00 pm CST will not be considered.
All bidders will be emailed the official Bid Tab by August 18, 2021.
The City of Pleasant Hill will award a single prime contract to one Contractor.

PROJECT ESTIMATE: Architect’s Estimated Cost of Construction for Base Bid is $450,000 with the total
value of the four add alternates estimated at $260,000.
DESCRIPTION: This project includes all materials, equipment, transportation and labor and
support needed to construct the Design Solution, per Drawings and Specifications for the renovation project listed above.
Project items include but are not limited to: Project items include but are not limited to: Site paving, landscaping, demolition, limited structural steel, interior concrete cutting and patching, wood decking and stairs, mechanical, plumbing, new lighting and electrical, access controls and technology, aluminum storefront, ballistic and laminated glazing, bullet resistant panels, commercial floor coverings, paint, commercial millwork, acoustic tile ceilings, and signage.
The total area of the existing building is 10,000 SF with 4,000SF proposed to be renovated in the base bid. Site work and additional renovation is included in the add alternates.
Scope of Work for this project shall be as set forth in the Drawings and Specifications. The project will be divided into a Base Bid and Add Alternates #1 (Exterior Window Replacement), #2 (Site and Exterior Improvements), #3 (Additional Flooring and Restroom Upgrades), and #4 (Audio and Video in Council Chambers) as designated in the drawings and specifications.
Work on the improvements shall be commenced September 22, 2021 with
Substantial Completion not later than April 1, 2022.
