Overview

This interactive dock was design by New York-based artist Mary Mattingly and was brought to Iowa with the aim of engaging the community in a conversation about the future of the waterways and nearby Greenways in the Greater Des Moines area.  

Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult when on the Wading Bridge.  If planning any type of special event, an appointment must be scheduled with the Parks & Recreation staff by calling 515-262-9368.
