The Police Department wants residents to be alert for any suspicious persons or behavior and contact the Pleasant Hill Police Department if you see something suspicious in our community. We strongly encourage residents to follow these simple guidelines to minimize your risk of becoming a victim of property crimes.

  • Keep garage doors closed anytime you are going to be out of immediate sight of your garage.
  • Lock your vehicle and remove all valuable property from within whenever your vehicle is going to be left unattended for any period of time.
  • Keep your purse, wallet, electronics and any other valuable items with you at all times when you are out, and avoid leaving them in your vehicle.
  • Only take necessary valuables with you when you go out. Leave any valuables, important documents and unnecessary cash, credit cards and electronics secured at home instead of routinely carrying them around needlessly in your vehicle, wallet or purse.

We ask our community partners, IF YOU SEE SOMETHING, SAY SOMETHING, and contact the Pleasant Hill Police Department at 515-265-1444.
