Natural Areas support a wide diversity of plants and wildlife. The Pleasant Hill Parks and Recreation manages over 132 acres of natural areas that include prairies, woodlands, trails, greenways, wildlife habitats, and waterways. Natural areas are large supporters of health in urban areas, helping filter out pollutants in the environment, creating wildlife habitats, and improving air and water quality.
