Residents can volunteer to help guide the City of Pleasant Hill by serving on one of five boards and commissions, each with specific responsibilities. Boards and commissions study information in specific areas and make recommendations to the city council on issues within that board or commission's area of expertise. Appointments to city boards and commissions are made by the Mayor and confirmed by the City Council of Pleasant Hill.
